For all those asking “when can I get my new facebook profile?”

Facebook’s latest timeline feature launch has been delayed, perhaps due to a lawsuit from the makers of Timeline.com.

The lawsuit was filed on the 29th of September on the basis of trademark infringement. Some sources cite 6th October as a launch date, but there has been no announcement from facebook yet.

The feature replaces the famous “wall” with a timeline of a recent users activity, stretching back through their life. It even goes back as far as your birth. The timeline profile also features a large, landscape, “Cover Photo” at the top of your profile, allowing lots of opportunity to customise your profile.
